To any former StarConnect / BrightStarInternet subscribers who access this site,

StarConnect Internet service to domestic subscribers has, unfortunately, for business reasons, ceased to exist. The email system @satnow.net as well as the email system @starconnect.com may soon also cease to operate.

I,  Bob Proffitt, am no longer officially associated with PC Satellite, LLC dba StarConnect although I am still assisting its ownership in some of the final business details  and I am periodically responding to calls to the support number at 800-610-0174 as long as it remains operational.  My personal email is bobprof@charter.net ; I will be try to offer opinions about alternate service if you contact me thru either email or the 800 number.

Progress is being made on the reprogramming of StrarConnect F11 modems to Skyway firmware and I am in process of reprogramming the first batch for Braodband in a Box reseller's subscribers (and for any direct Skyway subscribers who need an F11 modem). Final procedures of the process including on the air testing should be completed tomorrow 10/30 and initial shipments are expected to be sent this weekend.

Many of you have been ISAT/Synergistic/StarConnect subscribers over much of the almost 10 years that the business has been in operation and that I have been in one of many roles (except ownership) involved with it. Personally I apprecaite your business and thank you for it.  I deeply regret that our relationships have ended.
